IVAN
VERUNICA

A native of Croatia, Ivan finished high school in the United States before completing his undergraduate studies (English and Acting) at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia and his Master’s degree (Directing and Dramaturgy) at the University of Glasgow in Scotland.

After working in the theatre around Great Britain as a freelance actor and director, Ivan took a job in the public sector, combining it with his passions: travel and playwriting. After extensively travelling around Europe and South America, he worked in New York City for a year before moving back to Croatia to start TRY theatre.

At TRY theatre, Ivan has worked with hundreds of children and wrote and directed several full plays. “Without Hamlet” and “The Six Sisters” received international attention and several awards. Ivan absolutely loves his job and finds working with young actors invigorating.

ADAM
STEWART

Before moving to the Czech Republic in 2005, Adam honed his theatre skills in London and at the Edinburgh Festival as a member of the National Youth Music Theatre. He then studied Acting and Education at Bretton Hall University in the north of England where he received a BA (hons). For the last 15 years Adam has worked extensively in theatre, television and as a freelance drama practitioner/educator in New York and throughout the United Kingdom.

Adam holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Education and was Head of Drama at the English International School of Prague for 5 years. As well as being the Artistic Director of PYT, Adam also regularly performs as part of the Cimrman English Theatre company at Zizkovske Divadlo.

Eleanor
Stranders

I am currently training in Acting and Community Theatre at East 15 Acting School. As well as this, I also have a very strong background in Movement and Dance, styles include Jazz, Street, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Ballet and Contemporary.

With my knowledge of both I like to use these skills to create innovative choreography as well as challenging boundaries explored in my previous productions. Having previously worked on great youth production projects I cannot wait to start working with you all, and see what we create!

Dorijan
Semencic

I am currently studying at the East 15 Acting School in London. In the past I have done projects for major production houses such as Netflix. I have also participated in various events organized by the European Union where  actors performed in theatre or film for a certain topic given by the EU.

I have been a member of TRY Theatre, both as an actor and as a drama teacher, giving me the experience of acting from two very different sides. I'm hoping to pass on my knowledge and skills I have learned, which the young performers will be able to take on board, but also to teach what sort of an impact drama can have.
